Hello everyone,
I'd like to start off by saying that this is a first-person narrative. I'm going to share my experience on how I overcame procrastination and developed good study habits.
I used to struggle with procrastination quite often, which resulted in me cramming everything before the deadline or not completing assignments at all. However, when I realized the negative impact it had on my academic performance, I decided to change my ways.
Firstly, I broke down my tasks into small achievable steps and prioritized them according to importance. By doing so, I could see tangible progress which helped boost my confidence.
Secondly, I set a specific schedule for studying each day. This routine became part of my dly life and soon of setting aside time for studies was second nature.
Thirdly, I eliminated distractions like social media and phone notifications during study times.
Lastly, rewarding myself after completing tasks motivated me to keep going.
Overcoming procrastination isn't a one-time task but rather an ongoing process that requires discipline and commitment. However, it's completely doable with the right strategies.
I hope helps anyone who struggles with procrastination as much as I did.
