Abstract:
The rapid advancement in technology has revolutionized educational methodologies, particularly with the emergence and prevalence of online learning platforms. This paper examine the influence of online learning on student performance by conducting a comprehensive analysis of existing studies and literature. The research objectives are twofold: first, to identify the key factors that contribute to successful online learning experiences; second, to assess how these experiences impact students' academic outcomes.

A systematic review of peer-reviewed articles and relevant scholarly works was conducted from various databases such as JSTOR, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The search terms included online learning, student performance, e-learning, distance education, and academic achievement. Studies that met the criteria of evaluating online learning's impact on student performance were selected for a detled analysis.
Results:
The findings reveal several factors contributing to successful online learning experiences, such as access to high-speed internet, adequate technical skills, self-discipline, motivation, and time management abilities. Moreover, these studies indicated that students who actively engage with the material through interactive activities and discussions t to achieve better academic outcomes compared to those who are passive learners.
